In-patient clinic (Station 38A)
The Department of Rheumatology, Campus Benjamin Franklin admits up to 20 patients with all spectrum of rheumatic diseases, including:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Ankylosing spondylitis and spondylarthritides
- Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
- Vasculitis
- Systemic sclerosis
- Dermatomyositis
- Rare rheumatic diseases
All doctors in our department speak English.
What to take with you?
In case of planned admission please bring the following items with you:
- a valid referral form (Überweisungsschein) (not required for private appointments)
- your medical insurance (Versichertenkarte)
- every document, related to your complaints, clinical features of the disease or describing previous clinical situation, treatments and procedures, such as
- results of laboratory tests
- medical reports
- all X-Rays, MRIs: pictures, descriptions and CDs, if available
- list of the medications that you take, or your medications
- another important documents (e.g. diabetes-diary etc.,)
- a second pair of shoes or slippers
- personal items (toothbrush, razor, comb, body wash, shampoo, deo etc.)
